Sustainable Development
According to the UN concept, sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
It is based on three interrelated aspects:
1. Economic – sustainable growth and equitable distribution of benefits.
2. Social – ensuring equality, rights, and basic services.
3. Environmental – conservation of natural resources and combating climate change.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), proposed by the UN, include 17 areas for a comprehensive approach to solving global problems.
