1. to ensure compliance with mandatory regulatory requirements and international best practices, including anti-corruption requirements

2. to foster an internal corporate culture within the Company that promotes transparency and integrity among all employees and creates conditions for conducting business in accordance with international best standards, internal policies, and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Compliance Officer carries out their activities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Combating Corruption,” the Company Charter, the Collective Agreement, the Code of Conduct (Business Ethics), the Regulations on the Compliance Officer of the Economic Research Institute JSC, other legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Company’s internal documents.

The Compliance Officer reports to the Company’s Board of Directors, operates independently from the Company’s Management Board, and is vested with the authority and resources necessary to perform their duties.
