Implementation of the project to create National Commodity Distribution System will reduce the population expenditure on purchasing socially important food products by 10-15% by 2022-2023.
"In general, according to the project results of 24 WDC (wholesale and distribution centers - ed. note), the economic effect will be about KZT 1.2 trillion. Productivity of agricultural commodity producers will increase to 460.0 thousand tons of fruit and vegetable products or by KZT 23.0 billion per year", - informs the Ministry of Trade and Integration.
According to the Ministry, after the creation of NCDS, loss reduction of producers in the post-harvest period will be about 350.0 thousand tons of vegetable products amounting to KZT 13.3 billion per year.
