Auction trading for the right to exploration and production at oil and gas fields started for the first time in the country's history on the Ministry of Energy virtual platform on Tuesday. Within the first hour, three of the seven lots were sold. The following plots were sold at the auction: Sagiz, Balkuduk and Koshalak in the Atyrau region, as well as Karabau, Begaidar, Zaburunye and Saraishyk. The Sagiz section with a starting price of slightly over 60 million tenge was sold at a price of almost 87 million tenge. The Balkuduk section with a starting price of just over 32 million tenge went for a little more than 50.5 million tenge. The Koshalak site at a price of 34 million tenge went for 42.3 million tenge. The struggle for Karabau was very effective - at a price of 20.7 million tenge, it was sold for almost 559 million tenge. The Bagaydar site at a price of 34.3 million tenge went for almost 840 million tenge. The main and stubborn struggle at the auction unfolded for two sites - Zaburunye and Saraishyk. The first one at a price of 38.6 million was sold for 17.1 billion tenge. The second k was sold for just over 45.4 billion tenge with a starting mark of 43.3 million tenge. This is the highest price for a site among all deposits of the first auction. As a reminder, the online auction service was launched on September 1, 2020. With its help, the Ministry of Energy intends to grant the subsoil use right to investors. Today an interactive map containing information on 82 sites is available to everyone. To initiate an auction for each of the objects, a potential investor only needs to submit an application online, after which the process of auctioning exploration and / or development of the deposit is launched.
