Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in the Samruk Business Forum, the forum to support the country’s entrepreneurs, the Akorda press service reports.
Addressing those gathered the President noted importance of forum for the country’s business and Samruk Kazyna Fund. He stressed the need to more efficiently use opportunities of joint innovation developments, create the fund of value added chain, render infrastructure support, boost human capital, tap into the export markets. The Head of State spoke in favor of partnership of large state corporations and businessmen that is most especially significant amid struggling against economic results of the pandemic. Latest technologies, smart policy for introduction of products to the market and experts is the formula for success. Tokayev positively assessed the Fund’s activity. According to him, quasi-public sector, especially the Samruk-Kazyna Fund have an important role in the development of domestic industry. Domestic manufacturers, in turn, demonstrated their developments in the field of technologies. In particular, Kazakhtelecom JSC, which is part of the Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund, actively participates in the implementation of the NWF's policy on the development and use of new high-tech instruments. The largest telecommunications operator has the ability to aggregate data on all purchases made in the country. Big Data tools are also used by the telecom company for the analysis of fiscal data, which becomes especially relevant from the point of view of public administration and budget planning during periods of economic turbulence and its subsequent recovery. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also got acquainted with the work of the marking and tracking system of tobacco products, which allows to track the entire cycle of movement of goods, from the manufacturer to the end consumer, using the Data matrix code. This code, reliably protected from counterfeiting, contains information about the manufacturer of each batch of cigarettes and is read using special scanners, recording each subsequent markup for the goods. Following the forum there were signed indirect offtake agreements,
forward contracts and strategic agreements worth KZT 67 bln.
