Kazakhstan is expanding its investment cooperation with foreign partners.
Turkish entrepreneurs plan to invest more than a billion dollars in Kazakhstan's production facilities. During the meeting of Kazakh Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi with representatives of 7 Turkish holdings in Istanbul, 10 new production facilities were scheduled to start in Kazakhstan. The new Kazakh-Georgian economic association held the first meeting of the founders of the community. Georgia has a free trade agreement with China and the EU countries. "And we, having the potential, look in this direction to Kazakhstan and Central Asia. That is, we could take their raw materials for processing and export them to European countries," the consul said. The trade turnover between Georgia and Kazakhstan last year amounted to more than $ 121 mln. And this year, for the first time in the last two years, Georgians bought Kazakh grain. South Korea is also among the top ten countries in terms of investment in the economy of Kazakhstan. Over the past ten years, the inflow of direct investments made by South Korean companies in Kazakhstan has grown to four and a half billion dollars.
