Kazakhstan is expanding its investment cooperation with foreign partners.

Turkish entrepreneurs plan to invest more than a billion dollars in Kazakhstan's production facilities.

During the meeting of Kazakh Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi with representatives of 7 Turkish holdings in Istanbul, 10 new production facilities were scheduled to start in Kazakhstan. In the future-the implementation of projects in the field of mechanical engineering, medical devices, food and mining, and housing and utilities infrastructure.

Currently, work is also underway to strengthen partnership relations between Kazakhstan and Georgia.


The new Kazakh-Georgian economic association held the first meeting of the founders of the community. Among the participants are representatives of business companies and corporations with Kazakh capital.

The association invites business companies of various directions to join its ranks, promising help, support and development.

According to the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Georgia, Georgy Jakhutashvili, " the main direction is the use of trade transit corridors."

Georgia has a free trade agreement with China and the EU countries. "And we, having the potential, look in this direction to Kazakhstan and Central Asia. That is, we could take their raw materials for processing and export them to European countries," the consul said.

The trade turnover between Georgia and Kazakhstan last year amounted to more than $ 121 mln. And this year, for the first time in the last two years, Georgians bought Kazakh grain.

South Korea is also among the top ten countries in terms of investment in the economy of Kazakhstan.

Over the past ten years, the inflow of direct investments made by South Korean companies in Kazakhstan has grown to four and a half billion dollars.

According to the chairman of the board of the company for attracting investments, Yerzhan Baltayev, at the moment Kazakhstan is particularly interested in cooperation on th.organization of an airport hub, where a number of projects will be implemented, such as outlets, hotels, logistics centers.

"We see potential in this, taking into account our geographical location and opportunities in general for infrastructure," Yerzhan Baltayev said, speaking at the semina.organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan on March 27 online.

During the event, it became known that the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Seoul received more than 40 proposals for potential joint projects in Nur-Sultan.
