Rural Budgets Supplement

The Head of the MNE, Ruslan Dalenov, reported on the rural districts budgets financial capabilities expansion.

«New approaches to regional development of the country will be developed, including measures to disclose the competitive advantages of each specific region. To do this, changes will be made to the Forecast scheme of territorial and spatial development until 2030. Active implementation of» Auyl el besigi» Project aimed at solving urgent infrastructure issues in the villages will continue. Financial capabilities of rural district budgets will be expanded as part of the improvement of local governments (transfer of 4 types of taxes and payments)» - said the Minister at a Government Meeting on September 2.
 
In addition, Local governments development concept is being developed. Within its framework, proposals will be developed to introduce direct elections of rural Akims, expand the property rights of local government and powers of Maslikhats.

Recall that in the Address to the nation, the President of Kazakhstan set tasks to ensure sustainable economic growth, improve the quality and standard of living.

The Ministry of National Economy will work in five main areas: business development; fiscal policy improvement; investment promotion; balanced regional development; and public administration.
