Ruslan Sultanov spoke about the ERI activities and areas of work, including in the framework of cooperation with international researc.organizations. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of investment potential, opportunities for development of trade relations between the countries, problems of entrepreneurs, as well as restrictive measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ambassador paid special attention to barriers of bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and India related to the lack of logistics networks between the countries, as well as language restrictions of Indian entrepreneurs when entering the Kazakhstan market. At the same time, it was noted that in the digitalization era, there are enough areas for cooperation that do not require direct contact. One of the topics of discussion was scientific cooperation between analytical centers. Today, ERI is working to expand a partner network of academic communities, including within the framework of the SCO Consortium. The parties agreed to consider possibility o.organizing joint seminars and online conferences with scientific and expert communities in order to discuss problematic trade issues and develop recommendations for governments of the countries.
