Kazakhstan and UAE: Cooperation

Askar Mamin, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held talks with Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the  Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), during a working visit to Abu Dhabi. During the meeting, a document on investment cooperation was signed, which involves the implementation of 21 projects worth KZT 6.1 bln.

10 of the 21 planned joint investment projects provide for the launch of production of food products with high added value.

All investment projects are aimed at creating production facilities with high added value and profitability, as well as a large demand potential in both domestic and promising foreign markets.

Their implementation will allow Kazakhstan to create new high-quality jobs, introduce advanced technologies and practices, and will further increase the trade turnover between the two countries.

R. Dalenov, the Minister of National Economy, M. Beketayev, the Minister of Justice, A. Kulginov, the Akim of Nur-Sultan, Zh. Madiyev, the Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms, A. Arifkhanov, the Chairman of the Management Board of Baiterek NMH, and others, participated in the visit.
