SCO Heads of State Council Meeting

On November 10, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Heads of State Council Meeting will be held through a video conference under the chairmanship of the Russian Federation. The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will participate in an online event.

It is planned that the Summit will consider priority tasks for further strengthening cooperation within SCO in the context of the global political and social and economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. SCO leaders of state will also exchange views on topical items on the international and regional agenda.

In addition, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will deliver a video message to the participants of the event.

It is expected that the meeting will result in the adoption of the Declaration Concerning Atrocities and a number of other documents.
