NCP network online meeting

On June 22-23, 2021, the Kazakhstan Office of the National Contact Point took part in an online meeting of the National Contact Point network (hereinafter, respectively, NCP, NCP network) on the OECD Responsible Business Conduct.

The meeting discussed the Action Plan of the NCP network for 2022-2024.

The key element of the negotiation was the analysis of previous plans, which were based on the following:

• expert assessments;
• functional equivalencing;
• creation and improvement of NCP tools;
• development and promotion of the policy coherence.

The Working Group on Responsible Business Conduct of the OECD Investment Committee presented data on the NCP participation in the OECD events.

Following the meeting, representatives of all NCP decided to discuss development prospects, with the elaboration of further ideas for improving this mechanism, in July of this year.
