On July 5, the 2022 High-level Political Forum (HLPF) began its work in New York.

The High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) is an annual intergovernmental forum where countries review and report on progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

The 2022 HLPF will be held from July 5 to July 15 under the motto "Building back better from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) while advancing the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development".

From July 13 to 15, a three-day ministerial segment of the HLPF will be held with the presentation of Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) on the SDGs. 44 countries will present the VNR on their implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Voluntary National Review (VNR) is a document that provides an analysis of achievements and identifies challenges in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Kazakhstan will present the second Voluntary National Review at the 2022 High-Level Political Forum.

– SDG 14: Life below water;

– SDG 15: Life on land;

– SDG 17: Partnerships for the goals.

In the second review, Kazakhstan additionally focuses on the Sustainable Development Goals selected by representatives of local executive bodies, NGO representatives, experts, citizens and all stakeholders attracted during field events throughout the country.

Among them:
