OECD Annual Report on National Contact Point Activity in 2025

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has published its annual report, “National Contact Points for Responsible Business Conduct: Growing Impact, Rising Expectations,” presenting the results of National Contact Point activity in 2025.
The report provides an overview of the NCP network operating across 52 countries adhering to the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct. It reviews NCP activities in the following key areas:
Key findings for 2025 In 2025, the NCP network received a record 120 case submissions, with 32 NCPs receiving at least one case. More than 70% of submissions were made by individuals. The issues most frequently raised concerned due diligence, human rights, employment and industrial relations, and disclosure. NCPs also maintained a high level of promotional activity, with their events and communication initiatives reaching more than 42,000 people. In addition, 75% of NCPs reported following, contributing to, or being consulted on policy and regulatory developments aimed at promoting responsible business conduct. The report also highlights increased international co-operation within the NCP network, the launch of the mandatory peer review cycle, and the introduction of an NCP mentoring programme aimed at strengthening effectiveness and functional equivalence across the network.
