NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR COOPERATION AND A NEW WAY OF DEVELOPMENT

Ruslan Sultanov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Institute of Economic Research JSC, took part in the Eurasian Economic Forum as a speaker.

The purpose of the forum is to strengthen political interaction through an extensive dialogue between political, business and scientific circles, sharing new opportunities for coordinated regional development and economic recovery. 

The event wa.organized by the SCO Chinese Academy of the Social Sciences Research Center, the Center for the Study of Uzbekistan of Shaanxi Pedagogical University, the Subcommittee of Analytical Centers of the SCO Chinese Committee on Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, the Council for Strategic Cooperation of China and Russia Chinese Academy of the Social Sciences.

80 people, heads and representatives of government bodies of the People's Republic of China, heads and representatives of structural divisions of the CASS, Participants from the Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the CASS, Shaanxi Pedagogical University, Chinese representatives of scientifi.organizations and universities, Foreign participants (Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EAEU), First Deputy Chairman, Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, academician, Chairman of the Management Board of Economic Research Institute of Kazakhstan JSC, Vice President, Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies Professor, Faculty of Economics of Tbilisi National University, etc.) took part in the event.

Assistance to Eurasian regional cooperation, assistance to the recovery of the world economy 

Sergey Glazyev, Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EAEU), noted the importance of the integration of the EEC and the SCO. 

The key direction is to increase the connectivity and stability of our economies, creating conditions for the market to have a common strategic development. We are talking about the development of integration as the formation of a large partnership.

Director of the Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia Sun Chuangzhi stressed that multilateral cooperation should bear fruit. Trust between countries will build a community of Common destiny. 

Ruslan Sultanov noted that the SCO can be just as successful a regional association, demonstrating the huge potential and strong stability of economic and trade cooperation between the parties. He noted that strengthening mutual cooperation during the post-pandemic period should be a common priority of our countries, and it is important to pay attention to the economic aspect of our relations. 

Regional Administration: SCO as a platform for the construction of "One Belt and One Road"   

REN Xiaowei, Vice-rector of Shaanxi Pedagogical University stressed that "The Shanghai spirit is mutual trust, equality, respect for the diversity of civilizations and movement towards joint development."

Alexander Romanov, Deputy Director, Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO), drew attention to digital security, as the pandemic accelerated the transition to digitalization. 

HU Jiping, Vice-President of CACIR, spoke about the pairing of "One Belt and One Road with the EAEU". 

XU Tao, Deputy Director, Institute for the Study of Social Development of Eurasian Countries of the Center for the Study of Development Problems under the State Council of the People's Republic of China, a leading researcher, noted the changes in global economic dynamics. He highlighted the importance of sharing experiences. 

The participants of the event proposed further cooperation.organize regular seminars of research institutes, analytical centers, internationa.organizations; establish communication for the exchange of experience, discussion of issues, exchange of opinions.
