27.08.2026 Due Diligence: What It Is and Why It Matters for Kazakhstani Business The National Contact Point of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Responsible Business Conduct has prepared an information bulletin on due diligence in the field of responsible business conduct.
25.08.2026 A representative of the Economic Research Institute participated in the CAREC Think Tank Development Forum in Tashkent On 20 and 21 August 2026 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Alibek Raipov, Director of the World Economy Research Center at Economic Research Institute JSC, participated in the 10th CAREC Think Tank Development Forum (CTTDF) under the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program. The event focused on the theme “Towards Robust, Innovative, and Inclusive Financial Sector Development in the CAREC Region.”
13.08.2026 The Norwegian NCP’s Practice in Responsible Business Conduct: Analysis of Key Cases and Lessons for Kazakhstan The analytical material examines the practice of the Norwegian National Contact Point in handling specific instances under the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct. The analysis is based on cases involving Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), Telenor, Aker BP/Aker ASA and Statkraft, addressing due diligence by institutional investors, responsible disengagement from high-risk countries, human rights in mergers and acquisitions, Indigenous Peoples’ rights and environmental risks.
12.08.2026 The French NCP’s Practice in Responsible Business Conduct: Analysis of Key Cases and Lessons for Kazakhstan The analytical material examines the practice of the French National Contact Point in handling specific instances under the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct. The analysis is based on cases involving SHEIN, Air France, Veolia and Crédit Mutuel Equity, addressing labour rights, responsible supply chains, environmental and consumer risks, engagement with suppliers, as well as investor due diligence.
