05.06.2026 A Shared Vision for the SDGs: Kazakhstan and UN Experts Discuss Approaches to Measuring Progress Yesterday, the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in Kazakhsta.organized a meeting between representatives of the SDG Secretariat of the Economic Research Institute JSC, the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
05.06.2026 The Institute Hosted a Scientific Seminar on an Empirical Study of the Impact of Trade Liberalization on the Transformation of Supply Chains A scientific seminar was held at JSC Economic Research Institute to discuss the preliminary findings of a study examining the impact of trade policy on business development and the resilience of international supply chains.
02.06.2026 Kazakhstan NCP Participated in a Seminar on State Support Measures for Investment Activities On May 21, 2026, in Astana, Mr. A.S. Bazarbayev, representative of the Secretariat of the National Contact Point of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NCP), participated in the seminar titled “State Support Measures for Investment Activities”.organized by KAZAKH INVEST National Company JSC. The event brought together representatives of the business community and investors from Astana, Karaganda Region, East Kazakhstan Region, as well as Abai and Ulytau Regions. The seminar was also attended by representatives of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken”, local executive bodies, Baiterek National Investment Holding JSC, Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC, Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan JSC, and other quasi-public secto.organizations.
01.06.2026 Economic Research Institute Representative Participates in Academy of Management Seminar on Advancing Research Shakharbanu Shormanovna Zhakupova, Chief Research Fellow at JSC Economic Research Institute, participated in a two-day worksho.organized by the Academy of Management (AOM) under the Community Accelerator Program in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the support of Narxoz University and KIMEP University. The event took place in Almaty on May 28–29, 2026.
