International Conference of X Civil Forum

International Conference with the participation of Economic Research Institute On November 25, an international conference "The Evolution of Interaction: from donor assistance to a full-fledged international partnership" is being held in Almaty as part of X Civil Society Forum with the participation of 150 delegates from all regions of the country, representatives of non-governmenta.organizations (NGOs), publi.organizations (NGO), government agencies, quasi-public sector, business, internationa.organizations and other participants. Economic Research Institute JSC (ERI) took part in the conference.
Due to the fact that the Civil Forum is held under the auspices of sustainable development,The SDG Secretariat of the Institute of Economic Researc.organized a mobile exhibition of 17 art objects in the field of Sustainable Development Goals. The Forum is aimed at discussing promising areas of regional cooperation of civil society in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The conference also addressed the issues of growing climatic and environmental risks, drinking water sufficiency, threats to the fauna and flora of the region, drainage of the largest reservoirs - which are relevant for Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries.
Opening the conference, Vice Minister of Information and Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolat Tlepov He noted that the key issue of this event is the strengthening of international cooperation for the provision of donor and charitable assistance.
"Amendments are being made to the Laws "On Public Councils" and "On Volunteer activities" for the effectiveness of the activities of civil society entities," the speaker added.
The President of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan, Banu Nurgaziyeva, stressed that the formation of civil society is the result of a consistent policy of the state. The core of State Policy is non–governmenta.organizations.

We remind that X Civil Forum started in the capital of Kazakhstan on November 22-24 in the online format. And continues its work already in offline format on November 25-26, 2021 in Almaty.
The program of the Forum covers a wide range of topics and involves interesting experts and participants.
The Forum also included more than 30 discussion platforms, expert discussions, facilitation and panel sessions.
