Astana International forum 2024

On February 1, 2024, the program of the Astana International Forum 2024 was discussed at the site of the Economic Research Institute.

The Secretariat of the Astana International Forum (AIF), operating on the basis of the ERI, held a working session with the participation of experts from the Institute and international consultants.


Deputy Chairman of the Board Adil Kusmanov, Oxford graduate, Director of the World Economy Research Center Dolores Tyulebekova, PhD, Director of the Climate Change Center Aydin Bakdolotov, graduate of Purdue University, made their proposals on the Forum program based on the current global political, economic and climate agenda, taking into account both the regional specifics of Central Asia and domestic realities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.


Joshua Lincoln, PhD, Senior Fellow at the Center for International Law and Governance at the Fletcher, the Graduate School of Global Affairs at Tufts University, as well as Charles McLean, founder and managing director of The Borderless Consulting Group, a former NBC journalist, shared their vision of the most promising topics of the upcoming AIF in June. The political consultants also provided valuable recommendations on th.organization and promotion of the Forum, based on their rich experience of participating in numerous events of the highest international level, including the WEF, COP28 and taking into account the retrospective of last year's AIF.


The participants noted the usefulness of the 2-hour discussion. Timur Usseyev, Head of the AIF Secretariat, Director of the ERI Center for Sectoral Analysis, thanked everyone for their meaningful and constructive collaboration.


For reference: The Astana International Forum will be held on June 13-14, 2024. The Secretariat of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the Forum operates on the basis of the Economic Research Institute, JSC.
