In February 2024 Kazakhstan observed a consecutive twelfth-month decline in annual consumer inflation culminating in a rate of 9.3% - the lowest since February 2022.
The price growth across the country's regions goes as following.
Annually the highest inflation rates were recorded in the Karaganda region (11.5%), East Kazakhstan (10.2%), and the Mangystau region (10.0%).
In all regions inflation levels were significantly below those of the previous year with the most notable decrease observed in Mangystau plummeting from 25.1% to 10%.
The lowest inflation rates were documented in the Kyzylorda (8.4%), Kostanay (8.4%), and Almaty regions (7.1%).
