In the context of the preparation and implementation of the third Voluntary National Review, which Kazakhstan will present in July this year at the High-Level Political Forum in New York, a special role is given to young people. It is them who will implement long-term strategies for the country's development.
In
order to identify the opinions and views of young people on the key
challenges and prospects for sustainable development, «Economic
Research Institute» JSC in collaboration with UNICEF launched a
survey on the U-Report platform. This platform covers more than 7,000
respondents, and the survey itself includes questions aimed at:
– defining
priority goals for sustainable development for future generations;
– assessing
the contribution of society to achieving the SDGs;
– identifying
socio-economic areas of regional development that contribute to
sustainable development, and other aspects.
Conducting
this survey will not only allow for a deeper understanding of the
views of young people, but will also contribute to the promotion of
the Sustainable Development Agenda, based on the principle of «Leave
no one behind».
