In particular, the discussion touched upon sectoral approaches to low-carbon development, namely the energy sector, industrial processes, agriculture and forestry, as well as the waste management sector.
04.11.2022 ERI experts discuss Kazakhstan's draft of Social Code and the Digital Family Map in Astana Multidimensional Child Poverty Index of Kazakhstan was presented at the conference "Modernization of the social protection system for families with children: key challenges and opportunities". The first results of the study will be presented as early as 2023. The work done in the development, testing and approval of the Child Wellbeing Index of Kazakhstan was also presented during the conference.
02.11.2022 RCOY Central Asia regional youth conference discusses key issues on climate change The Regional Youth Conference on Climate and Water in Central Asia (RCOY Central Asia) was held for the first time in Astana. Experts debated the topic of climate change at the regional level. They considered key issues in the run-up to COP-27 and COY-17 in Egypt and the UN Water Conference in 2023.
