NCP held a retreat for the plant

On June 10, the Kazakhstan office of the National Contact Center of the Economic Research Institute (ERI) JSC held a visiting seminar for the factory Böhmer Armature Kazakhstan LLP.

During the seminar, ERI experts familiarized the plant employees with the functions and activities of the National Contact Center in Kazakhstan, spoke about the standards of responsible business conduct and recommendations of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Companies.

In addition, during the seminar, the NCC Secretariat had the opportunity to get acquainted with th.organization of the production process of the plant, the products manufactured and the working conditions of the plant's employees.

At the end of the seminar, the parties decided to continue cooperation on the National Contact Center and the implementation of responsible business conduct standards.

Böhmer Armature Kazakhstan LLP - the official representative of "Böhmer" brand and the only official representative of BÖHMER GmbH and "Böhmer Armature" LLP in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The company has more than 20 highly professional employees and 4 branches in the largest cities of Kazakhstan. The plant is a member of various engineering and machine-building unions. For 11 years of operation more than 4.5 thousand ball valves have been sold.

The NCP - is a collegial advisory body that makes decisions on appeals concerning violations of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, including issues of information disclosure, human rights, labor and industrial relations, combating bribery, bribery and extortion, environmental protection, consumer interests, science and technology, competition and taxation.

 

The functions of the NCC Secretariat in Kazakhstan are performed by the Economic Research Institute JSC.
